  1. respect

yeah, can’t BELIEVE no one has commented on this set….SICK

i remember first listening to this back in early 2000, and how much it blew me away. this set would still sound FRESH even now.

tracklisting anyone? especially the 1st track playing….

  2. I agree, this is a sick ass set….and the 1st track just lays down the ground work, perfectly…i’m greatful…i’m i’m greatful!!!

    sho’ nuff…track list???

  3. It chops a bit but is saved nicely. The selection is GREAT! Reminds me of the Casa Del Soul Crew from Colorado.

Are these guys still playing out?

  4. Dis one skratchin’ wutz itchin’ y’betchya….BETA Lounge way so way up ovah da top!
Pre-weirdness/Bush set so mighty fine to remembah! I is UP wid it!

  5. this track is the funkiest ever! @2:14
& the whole set is great. thx to betalounge providing it since 1999.

  6. I know right?!

  7. Still mesmerized by this set after all this time. Is it possible to get a tracklisting? Probably not, but thought I\’d ask anyways…one of most favorite sets on here….

  8. …from a wild era. ’99 was the midst of the dotcom tech boom (Google was only a year old “startup”) and house music was blowing up. DNA Lounge, 1015 Folsom, EndUp were staples then. Tracks from To-Ka Project / Inland Knights on the Drop Music label were in most DJ’s vinyl crates.

THANK YOU for the supporters of Beta Lounge in keeping these archives online.

  9. thanks PM for bringing this back to mind… this one is really sick!

that ‘work’, that output, that archive is still fresh, unique and crazy good that it seems to be impossible to know & hear the whole archive.

I remember there was also something called a ‘record club’ where you could buy packages within chosen/picked music (cd/vinyl) from the Betalounge Crew/Staff… (if iĀ“m right? More or less?).

However, there was always an enlightment – to me – and still is.

    best crew on this planet!

    Betalounge is for ever!

  10. Thanks for all the great comments, was a great time in house music.
